On Monday 31 March, six IGS swimmers represented the CDSSA swim team at the AICES Swimming Carnival at Sydney Olympic Park. The IGS students were Piers D (Y11), Charlotte M (Y7), Lars S (Y11), William S (Y12), Sienna V (Y7) and Henry W (Y9).
The team competed with quiet determination against strong competition from other districts, delivering impressive performances. Notably, Sienna V qualified for the AICES team to compete at the CIS Championships on 5 and 6 May. She secured her place in the Girls 13 Years 50m Freestyle, 100m Freestyle and 50m Butterfly events.
