“This large group of 29 students has provided a wonderful experience for the IGS students and their families, the language classes and the larger school community,” said Acting Director of Languages Teresa Alonso-Lasheras.
“They had incredible experiences with their host families during the June-July holidays, loved coming to school and I feel it is fair to say they have really made the most of this opportunity.”
Leonie, one of our German exchange students, wrote on behalf of all of the exchange students:
“I think I speak for all of the exchange students when I say this was a once in a lifetime opportunity.
“We really appreciate the School, families, students and the experiences they created for us.
“We loved having the chance of getting to know new people and the whole country. Looking forward to coming back!”
Teresa and Acting Assistant Director of Languages Shuyi Wu thanked all IGS students, host families and teachers for their wonderful hospitality and care of these students, who helped bring the value of languages more alive than ever for all our own students.
