All 53 of the talented IGS Cross Country runners headed off for the CDSSA Championships excited about the prospect of some fabulous success at a brand new venue, the Commons, Sydney Olympic Park. Cool weather and clear skies provided a perfect opportunity for our students to match against CDSSA’s best. Students navigated brilliantly the narrow and undulating track and were the finest of ambassadors for the School with great competitive instinct tempered with exceptional sportsmanship throughout the day. Congratulations to all runners and to Mr James Hacket and Ms Georgia Cheerie who assisted in making sure the day ran smoothly. We are so very proud of all our athletes.
