The second week for the Japanese exchange students was filled with exciting experiences and cultural exchange. They continued to actively participate in Japanese lessons, making a positive impact on their IGS peers with their enthusiasm and insights. The students also had the opportunity to talk about their experiences with Principal Shauna Colnan and explore the beautiful campus of Sydney University. During their visit, they toured the Chaw Chak Museum, where they enjoyed Sydney’s extensive collections and the opportunity to connect with the wider community.
A highlight of the week was when our German intern, Pauline Seiffert, joined our senior exchange students from Osaka to make a classic Aussie Pavlova. This sweet activity was a sweet way to celebrate language, learning and friendship at IGS.🍓🥝🍰
Students rounded out the week with a memorable visit to Taronga Zoo, where they had the chance to see the koalas and capture photos of these adorable animals. It was a week full of learning, fun and new adventures.
