This week, our Year 7 students continued their Culinary Fusion Experience at the iconic Sydney Fish Markets, delving deeper into the art of seafood preparation.
At the Sydney Fish Market Cooking School, students had the hands-on opportunity to confit prawns, create beautiful crispy skin fish, grill squid, and steam crab. Working in teams, they not only honed their culinary skills but also prepared and enjoyed their delicious lunch together, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
Additionally, this experience helps students become world ready by appreciating the work and dedication that goes into making a meal, fostering a deeper respect for the culinary arts and the journey from sea to plate.
