Paulina has long supported IGS Musical Productions, attending Matilda and The Addams Family in recent years. She is connected to IGS through ballet instructor Manuela Bachmann (retired), with whom she has collaborated on various projects.
A WAAPA graduate, Paulina’s career includes performances with Graeme Murphy and Paul Mercurio, an extensive repertoire of original choreography, and collaborations with The Australian Ballet, NAISDA, and The Sydney Symphony Orchestra. Her accolades include the Peggy van Praagh Award and the Sir Robert Helpmann Award for Professional Choreography.
As Founding Artistic Director of Danza del Arte, Paulina has fostered a creative hub for independent artists. Her 2022 production Sui-Generis, a collaboration with Elena Kats-Chernin AO and Sydney Philharmonia Choirs, earned critical acclaim, standing ovations, and a nomination for Best Dance at the Sydney Fringe Festival.
At IGS, we often talk about students learning on the shoulders of giants and Paulina’s passion and expertise will enrich our Mamma Mia! production.
