“IGS tied for first place and the girls played brilliantly,” said IGS Director of Dramatic Arts Rita Morabito after their Enmore Theatre win against other finalists.
“What an incredible result for our IGS Intermediate Theatresports Team. Our Year 10 students led all the way throughout the competition. The team made intelligent, brave and creative choices in each of their improvised performances. Their scores increased at every round as they experimented on their feet to take creative risks in their storytelling. They used their skills of collaboration, narrative construction, and devising techniques to masterfully engage the audience.
“This humble brilliant team was coached by our Drama Alumni and former Head Boy Lukian Adams. We will co-share the Theatresports Cup with St Andrew’s Cathedral school for a year. Congratulations to all involved!”
Warmest congratulations to Tiggy, Liv, Akasha and Audrey.
