Dear IGS Families –
We are delighted to share a sneak peek of the refreshed IGS Uniform, developed in consultation with students, parents and staff over the past 18 months. This project has given the School an opportunity to unify community feedback and changes to the uniform made over time into a more cohesive collection.
A Sustainable Transition
The refreshed uniform consists of contemporary formal items, everyday and sportswear pieces, and new accessories. IGS will not set a ‘hard stop’ date for current uniform items. Items purposely look very similar to current items so that we can achieve a more sustainable transition over time.
New pieces include:

- A tartan skort
- A shell jacket
- Everyday and sportswear options across polos, printed shirts, and track shorts and pants
- Navy fleece track pants and hoodie
- A blazer, in standard and slim fit
- Grey pants and shorts, in standard and slim fit
- White shirts, in standard and slim fit, with new fabric, collar and tartan details
- A sensory-friendly poly cotton knit jumper
- Small and large backpacks, a tote bag, and a waterproof library/swim bag
- Bucket hat, cap, and beanie with matching scarf
- Optional accessories, including a small and large tartan scarf, tartan and plain neck ties, hair accessories, navy stockings and gloves, and white or navy socks
- Updated fashion detailing across the suite.
A detailed lookbook will be provided in Term 4.
