On Thursday 15 and Friday 16 February, IGS competed in the CDSSA Under 16 and Senior Boys and Girls Basketball Championships at Hills Basketball Stadium.
All three teams were highly competitive against very strong competition, with all IGS teams progressing to the Playoffs. A particular highlight of the competition was the Senior Girls, who against all odds powered through the competition, winning two of their three divisional games to progress to the second playoff, narrowly losing to the eventual competition winners, The Pittwater House.
IGS congratulates all three teams and thanks Coach Marquis Tropman supported by Mr Baghdadi and Mr Sheihing-Vasquez for their excellent technical advice and support of the students on the day.
