At IGS, our Year 5 and 6 students benefit from the expertise and passion of two outstanding Touch Football coaches, Chloe and Milly. With extensive experience at competitive levels, they bring invaluable skills, knowledge and enthusiasm to our young athletes who train at lunchtimes on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Coach Chloe
Chloe has been playing touch football and Oztag for over a decade, representing Souths and South Eastern Football Club at local, state and national levels. Her deep understanding of the game, combined with her dedication to player development, makes her a fantastic mentor for our students. Currently studying Primary Teaching at Notre Dame, Chloe is committed to fostering teamwork, sportsmanship and skill growth. She has been instrumental in coaching our Year 5 and 6 girls’ teams in the Inter-school Competition, held every Thursday afternoon at Queens Park.
Coach Milly
Milly’s journey in the sport began at just 11 years old, playing Oztag in her local school competition. She quickly progressed to competing at the Oztag State Championship for South Sydney, gaining valuable experience at a high level. Her passion for the game extended to touch football, where she played for her school team, enjoying the camaraderie and the opportunity to learn from teammates across different year groups. Today, Milly plays rugby for NSW and has also represented Australia in Rugby 7s. Her impressive sporting background and dedication to coaching help inspire and develop the next generation of athletes at IGS.
With Chloe and Milly’s guidance, our young players continue to grow in confidence and ability, learning the value of teamwork, resilience and a love for the game. We are grateful to have such talented role models leading our teams!
