“Each student has explored their built environment through their own choice of media, referencing aspects of the world that they are intrigued by. Each interpretation of the world around us has been explored through a different lens; giving insights to suburban, industrial, commercial, fantasy or even psychological worlds,” said Director of Art and Design Drew Bickford.
“With a starting point of Impressionism, Year 11 have journeyed through a range of art movements and produced work referencing artists such asa Camille Pissarro and Jeffery Smart.”
Katya of Year 11 said “this unit has made me look at and think about my world in a way that I wouldn’t normally.”
