The Grand Final will commence at 7pm and is expected to finish at about 8.30pm or 9pm.
We warmly congratulation the IGS Junior Theatresports team of Matilda Benedictus, Gretel Deutsch, Claudine Griffith, Zainab Moloobhoy and Margot Morton whose second placing in this weeks Finals granted them Grand Final placement.
Director of Drama Rita Morabito said the team scored a rare perfect 5/5/5 score in Round 3.
“Their determination, spirit and skill mean that they will compete in the Grand Final,” she said.
Their IGS Theatresports coach Lukian Adams said their performance in the semi final was a mirror image of their first heat, with a disappointing score in Round 1 followed up by amazing performances in Rounds 2 and 3.
“They clinched second place in Round 3 with a Broadway musical scene which blew the audience away, scoring a perfect 555.
“Once again, they should be very proud of their efforts.”
Tickets will be available at the door on the night of the show, at $10 an adult and $5 a student or child for some excellent entertainment.
Congratulations to the team and we wish them all the best for the Grand Final!
