Liv Rey Laaksonen of Year 10 and Stella Manos of Year 9 who received prestigious awards in the competition, vying for State prizes.
Around 20 students from NSW schools participated in the annual competition.
Contestants needed to complete a knowledge quiz about China and Chinese language, give a speech in Chinese and present a cultural performance.
We congratulate Liv and Stella for both achieving the third prize.
Liv also represented NSW to compete in the Australia National Final.
