SRC representatives volunteered their time and enthusiasm to organise ways for all students to participate and contribute to the school and the wider community.
All High School students are given the opportunity to run for a SRC position through an annual year group application process.
Two representatives are selected to represent their year group and attend regular meetings, working with staff to represent a student voice in whole school initiatives.
SRC members are committed to sharing the ideas of their peers, contributing to meaningful projects and discussions and reporting back to their Year Group on current initiatives.
2022 projects included a review of the IGS Way (IGS student Code of Conduct), a review of the School uniform, and creating an IGS SRC constitution.
We thank all students involved for their constructive participation this year, and invite all students to consider volunteering to represent their year group in the SRC next year.
