On Tuesday 18 March, IGS students put their athletic skills to the test at the Centennial Reservoir Fields during the CDSSA Touch Football Tournament. Our Opens Girls, Opens Boys, and 15s Boys teams faced off against top Sydney schools in a day of intense competition.
While we didn’t come out on top, our teams demonstrated true sportsmanship, giving their best effort in every match. The energy on the field was infectious as the players supported each other, working as a team and showing remarkable resilience throughout the day.
A special thank you to Lawrance Hunting and IGS Alum Amelia Whitaker for their valuable coaching help, guiding the players through the challenges of the tournament. Their support was instrumental in ensuring our teams stayed focused and motivated.
