The Power of Ethical Thinking

Congratulations to our 2024 Year 6 Junior Ethics Olympiad students, who competed alongside 24 schools from across Australia and overseas.

Our students placed in the top 10 and received an honorary mention from the judges. Reflecting on the experience, Akshay shared, “I really enjoyed the Ethics Olympiad because we got to have so much fun arguing cases together, and I think that ethical thinking and arguing are really important skills to have in life. My favourite cases were Yertle the Turtle, Liar Liar, and AI Art because they are fun but also very important ethical dilemmas that we will face or have faced in life.” Bianca added, “It was a very unique experience, and I had so much fun doing it. The Ethics Olympiad is a great way to explore different ethical topics. I enjoyed the overall experience so much!”

Congratulations Emilie, Henry, Bianca, Akshay and Eve.
