To celebrate World Poetry Day on 21 March, students were invited to write or share a favourite poem as part of a poetry exchange. Established by UNESCO in 1999, World Poetry Day honours linguistic diversity and the universal power of poetry to connect cultures across the globe. Many students decorated their poems with borders and illustrations before adding them to the Bibliothèque capsule machine. Those who contributed received a token to use in the machine on the day, exchanging words for inspiration.
A beautiful way to celebrate the power of words—one poem at a time!
