The end of our busy 2022 academic year offers welcome opportunities to celebrate, relax and reflect.
Many students enjoyed time together earlier today during Picnic Day, a wonderful introduction to the change of pace and change of scene that summer in Australia offers us.
The relaxation in COVID restrictions brought a welcome return to so many activities this year, allowing our students to connect with our neighbourhood, wider Sydney and with our exchange partner schools in other parts of the world.
It’s been a wonderful week for reflecting on a year of deeper learning, stronger friendships and all that an IGS education offers.
I hope you enjoy this final issue of InFocus for the year. Jam-packed as it is, it only ever offers a glimpse of the richness of learning that takes place for every member of our community, every day.
I look forward to seeing families of prizewinners and students in Years 3 to Year 12 at Speech Night at the State Theatre on Monday evening at 7pm.
While this will be the final time our Class of 2022 meets in person with such a large part of the entire School, we will always consider them to be valued members of our community.
