The Year 6 Italian class has created eye-catching posters with slogans that aim to engage and inspire our School community to embrace recycling practices. They are displaying the posters around the School as a reminder of the impact that each of us can make through simple acts of recycling and to spark conversations about the role we can all play in protecting the planet. Using new vocabulary, these students also created acrostic poems focusing on problems relating to Il Nostro Pianeta. The initial letters of each line spell out a word relating to our theme capturing the essence of environmental issues in a condensed form.
Acrostic poems are poems, word puzzles, or other compositions in which certain letters in each line form a word or words.
