Last week our Year 11 Biology students went on a fieldwork excursion to Long Reef in Collaroy. Braving the elements, they engaged in hands-on activities, measuring animal abundance and distribution on the rock platform. The students recorded important data and identified a variety of unique marine plants and animals. This immersive experience enhanced their understanding of marine ecosystems and brought out their enthusiasm for learning in real-world environments.
Thank you Jennifer Arapakis Assistant Head of Science for taking the students to such an immersive experience.
